Head of NaturePlus

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, experienced go-getter who would like to be at the forefront of environmental markets innovation. You will lead our expert team to scale impact for conservation across Australia and internationally. You will work with conservation organisations, farmers, indigenous and local communities, governments and the private sector to drive positive outcomes for biodiversity at scale. This is a perfect role for a strong people manager and leader who is motivated by action and who wants to see the impact of their commitment to conservation through world-leading, high-integrity projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide strategic input to the scaling of NaturePlusTM projects
  • Oversee the scaling and expansion of NaturePlusTM projects in Australia
  • Problem-solve roadblocks to high impact outcomes across NaturePlus project portfolio
  • Manage the NaturePlus Team
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement in people and operations
  • Provide communications and leadership to others in the organisation in relation to NaturePlusTM
  • Provide communications and leadership to stakeholders in relation to NaturePlusTM as required by the GM – New Initiatives

Key Technical Capability/Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in innovation, entrepreneurism or start up growth
  • Demonstrated commitment to solving environmental problems
  • Tertiary Qualification (Higher-level preferred)
  • Demonstrated high level planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including Executive level
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks and display initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team in an outcomes-focused setting
