Louis Chen

Louis is a Project Partnerships Manager at GreenCollar, acting as a key touchpoint for our partners on the ground. He has worked with different communities for several years and enjoys helping people navigate complex systems and creating tailored solutions that meet their individual needs.

Holding a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering and Arts and a Master of Urban Planning and Environment, Louis is passionate about our natural landscapes and relishes developing relationships with our partners who have a long history on the land and different connection to it. What motivates him are the stories direct from pastoralists that projects are contributing to animals coming back onto properties, improved vegetation and soil condition, money flowing back into local economies, and keeping families on the land and in the regions. Being able to head out bush to see it for himself and engage with our partners on ground makes the worker that much more rewarding.

Outside of work, you can find Louis exploring new landscapes, whether out and about discovering new parts of the country or in a fantastical world in a video game.
