Located near Louth, in Western New South Wales, Pattison has been home to a registered carbon project since 2015. Due to the project an area of native vegetation just over 4,000ha in size is now protected for 100 years.

Landholder, Neil Clark, has used funding from the project to upgrade fencing around the property, improve water infrastructure and to help manage business debt.

As a result of the project, Neil has been able to maintain more sustainable stocking rates and better control feral animals. This has been of great benefit to the natural environment at Pattison, noticeably reducing erosion and topsoil loss on the property.
