About the role
GreenCollar is seeking an exceptional Portfolio Partnerships Lead to join our dynamic team on a permanent full-time basis. The Portfolio Partnerships Lead works with GreenCollar’s main stakeholders to ensure successful long term environmental, agricultural, and economic outcomes for all environmental markets projects in their Portfolio.
In this role you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to carbon farming projects within one of GreenCollar’s core geographic areas. Reporting to the Head of Portfolio, as a Portfolio Partnerships Lead you will work closely with:
- your peers in the portfolio team on establishing clear strategies for managing and improving projects performance and priorities;
- your fellow Partnerships Managers on establishing high quality practices at functional level;
- GreenCollar’s Demand and Markets team on marketing and selling the environmental credits generated by projects in your Portfolio; and
- Go-to-market teams (business development; marketing) on establishing new customer or stakeholder relationships.
The location for the role is flexible with a preference for Sydney.
Your day to day responsibilities at GreenCollar will include:
- Responsible for establishing and managing constructive, productive relationships across a broad range of key stakeholders, and most consistently engages with landholders, pastoralists, land managers, regulators, and auditors
- Pursue successful long-term environmental, agricultural, and economic outcomes of all environmental markets’ projects in the portfolio
- Work with your Portfolio peers to establish guidance for all project stakeholders on project performance, risks and opportunities. Monitor current projects to ensure key ongoing project milestones are completed and communicated in a timely manner and successfully manage regulator queries and audits
- Work closely with go-to-market teams on establishing new customer or stakeholder relationships
- Work closely with the Demand and Markets team on marketing and selling the environmental credits generated by Projects in the portfolio
- Work closely with the New Initiatives team to explore future project opportunities with current landholder partners
- Responsible for the continuing improvement of GreenCollar’s core capabilities
- Travel to regional areas to visit projects and landholders, and to attend engagement meetings, workshops, and audits. You will also have the opportunity to represent GreenCollar at community field days, conferences, and other events sponsored by or involving GreenCollar
Skills and experience
- Demonstrated client services experience
- Solid track-record of managing and growing a portfolio of consistently high performing client relationships
- Proven relationship building and management skills and experience
- Commercial performance analysis, reporting, negotiation, and resolution
- Measurement of customer performance and health
- Working understanding of complex long-term contracts, legal frameworks and risk frameworks
- Impact and outcomes focused individual – comfortable with monitoring and reporting against targets
- Ability to plan and prioritise work efficiently to deliver high quality outcomes within deadlines
- Comfortable leading difficult conversations balancing the demands and needs of multiple parties
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to manage a wide variety of stakeholders
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams combining commercial, technical and scientific profiles in an agile environment
- Experience working product/project management tools as well as with CRM systems
- Superior work ethic with drive and passion for positive environmental outcomes
- Travel to rural and regional areas to visit land holders and projects capacity to travel periodically and independently
