Steve is a Project Partnerships Manager located in our Cairns office up in Far North Queensland where he works across GreenCollar’s Carbon portfolio. After living overseas for much of his childhood, he eventually relocated back to the UK where he grew up amongst the farming communities of the Fens. During this period, he spent many of his summers working for some of Europe’s largest fresh produce growers across the region. As a passionate advocate for nature and local biodiversity, he used this experience to learn everything he could about sustainable farming. Steve then went on to study an undergraduate and master’s degree in Molecular Biology at university in the UK before more recently completing a diploma in Marine Conservation. After his studies he went on to work in Sustainability for a large multinational where he was involved in all aspects of the organisation’s emission and plastic reduction strategy. Steve is incredibly excited to use his experience to work hand in hand with landholders to develop projects that help them diversify their incomes and deliver for the environment. In his spare time, you will often find Steve searching for sharks whilst diving somewhere on the Great Barrier Reef.
