Gabby Suares

After volunteering in Indonesia and here in Australia at wildlife rescues and Taronga Zoo, Gabby completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Biodiversity and Conservation which solidified her passion for the environment and wildlife. Gabby’s motivation and goal in life is to preserve our natural environment, our big beautiful trees, and our iconic wildlife species here in Australia and worldwide.

Gabby has been managing our carbon projects for 5 years and has developed intimate relationships with many of the landholders she works with. After starting in the field and seeing what projects look like, she now manages a large portion of GreenCollar’s carbon portfolio including registrations and ongoing monitoring and management. “It is a huge pleasure to work with such amazing graziers who want to see a healthy environment and sustainable land management practices across their community”.
Gabby has recently taken on management of our existing Queensland Land Restoration Fund projects, and joined the NaturePlus team to help develop our first projects and generate the first biodiversity credits in Australia. She is incredibly excited to use her experience and pursue her passion within GreenCollar where she can make a difference to the Australian ecosystem.

In her spare time, Gabby loves hiking, bushwalking, birding, playing soccer, and bouldering. She have a cat named Garry and an axolotl named Roger.
