Dr Jenny Sinclair

Jenny is Chief Scientist at GreenCollar, Australia’s foremost environmental markets investor. She is deeply committed to environmental stewardship and delivers innovative conservation strategies driven by her passion for biodiversity and the natural world. With expertise in environmental market mechanisms, Jenny specializes in using market-driven approaches to achieve positive environmental outcomes and advocate for nature-based solutions.
Jenny oversees GreenCollar’s R&D program, underpinning Australia’s largest portfolio of land sector abatement, the first Reef Credits and Australian plastic offsets. Jenny draws on her diverse background spanning behavioural evolution, conservation ecology and natural resource management to solve today’s most pressing environmental challenges.
Jenny is co-author of Australia’s first Avoided Deforestation Method and former chair of the Landscape Taskforce. She provides expertise on Australia’ emissions reduction policies and has also played a pivotal role in developing Australia’s Reef Credit and Accounting for Nature Standards.
Outside of her professional work, Jenny enjoys connecting with nature, horse riding, and sailing with her family.
