Michael Hudgin

Michael is Managing Director of Natural Resources at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where he is responsible for investments in natural climate solutions and actively involved in the agriculture and aquaculture sectors. He has led and contributed to several investments in these sectors as well as mining and infrastructure, and serves on the board of several of these companies. Michael joined Teachers’ in 2008 and began his career in infrastructure investments, before transitioning to the Natural Resources team in 2015. He started his professional career in investment banking in New York, and has also worked for a specialist agriculture private equity fund. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce (highest distinction) from McGill University and is also a CFA charterholder.
